Protein balls are a staple in our house. With kids sport, long days and road trips we need a supply of healthy treats on hand at all times. These banana protein balls are a family favourite, made from all-natural ingredients, they are delicious and easy to make. Ticking all the boxes!

Banana Bliss Balls

  1. 1 cup of raw macadamia nuts
  2. 1 ½ ripe bananas mashed
  3. ¾ cup desiccated coconut
  4. ¾ cup oat flour
  5. 1 tsp of cinnamon
  6. ½ tsp vanilla bean paste
  7. 1 tbs maple syrup
  8. Extra desiccated coconut to roll balls
  1. Process the macadamia nuts in a high-speed food processor to create a crumble. Be careful not to over process, there should be larger chunks in the mix.
  2. Place the macadamia crumble into a large bowl. Add the mashed bananas, coconut, oat flour, cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup to the bowl.
  3. Mix all ingredients until well combined.
  4. Place extra desiccated coconut onto a flat surface.
  5. Roll mixture into individual balls and roll in the extra coconut.
  6. Refrigerate for 1 – 2 hours to allow the balls to set.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
