Summer is such an amazing time of year, parties, friends, laughs and of course some cocktails. Today I wanted to share with you some cocktail recipes that you all know and love, however, these recipes have a brilliant healthy twist!

Margarita
Margarita's just bring a summer party to life! This recipe skips the nasty premix chemicals and is made using fresh organic ingredients.

Ingredients
  1. 30 ml of organic tequila
  2. Ground Himalayan sea salt
  3. 2 organic lime wedges (1/2 a fresh lime)
  4. 1 tbs of agave nectar
  5. 1/4 cup of fresh lime juice
Instructions
  1. Prepare your glass first. Pour your salt onto a small dish. Rub the rim of your cocktail glass with one of your fresh lime wedges. Gently dip the glass into the salt.
  2. Combine tequila, agave syrup, and fresh lime juice in to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  3. Shake until all the ingredients are mixed well and are cold.
  4. Strain into prepared glass. Garnish with second lime slice.
Notes
  1. If you don't want too much salt you can just do half the glass.

Mai Tai
This is a cool refreshing drink fit for any celebration!

  1. 30 ml of organic rum
  2. 1/2 cup of organic coconut water
  3. 1/4 cup of organic pineapple juice
  4. 1/4 cup of organic orange juice
  5. 1/4 cup of organic pomegranate juice
  6. 1 tbs of fresh lemon juice
  7. Ice
Instructions
  1. Place all the ingredients into a large cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well until the mix is cold.
  2. Serve in a tall glass filled with ice. Garnish with a fresh slice of pineapple.

Magic Mojito
Serves 1
This natural twist on the traditional Mojito is a perfect addition to any party.

Ingredients
  1. 30 ml of organic white rum
  2. 4 fresh organic mint leaves
  3. 2 tsp of organic raw sugar
  4. 30 ml of freshly squeezed organic lime juice
  5. Splash of sparkling water
  6. Ice
Instructions
  1. Place the rum, mint leaves, sugar and lime juice in a tall glass. Gently crush the ingredients with the back of a wooden spoon until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well until the mix is nice and cold.
  3. Fill your tall glass (the one you crushed the ingredients in) with crushed ice and pour the cocktail from the shaker, straining it as you go.
  4. Top with a splash of sparkling water.
  5. Gently stir and garnish you Mojito with fresh mint leaves and slices of fresh lime.
Notes
  1. You can skip the cocktail shaker and straining the liquid if you want a rustic Mojito and a little less mess!
